Cordova: This vessel was hand crafted by Jacqueline Cordova, I just had the pleasure of adding my basketry. The pottery is Raku and has been signed and stamped, and glazed. The inside has the beautiful colors made by the fire. Pine needle basketry was added, with black thread, sheathes at the rim and a Eastern Red Wood Cone. This cone grows along the Sierra Nevada's and Cascade mountain range, and can be found along the East Shore of Lake Almanor. Size 6 ¾” tall with cone 5 ½” wide. Feather River Fine Arts will receive 50 % of the proceeds form this sale. To further the education of the Arts in our local schools.
